They were one of the best shortbread cookies I have ever eaten. they were very flaky and the lemon drizzle just adds to the over all lemon flavor.<br /><br />There was just one problem. The recipe is incorrectly written. There is a 1/2 cup of sugar in the ingredient list but the recipe doesn't tell you when to add it. Since I have made many a cookie recipe I just added it the the creamed butter before the oil. It worked out well and were so delicious.
